How to Apply
2026–2027 High School Admissions Process
The Louisiana Academy of Production (LAAP) enrolls incoming 9th-grade students from across the Baton Rouge area and beyond who are interested in pursuing a specialized education in film and television production.
Open enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year begins September 29, 2025.
Completed applications, along with all required documentation, must be submitted to the LAAP Admissions Office between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Out-of-state applicants should contact the Admissions Office directly at (225) XXX-XXXX for instructions on how to apply.
Important Notes
- Late applications will be considered only if space is available after the initial review process.
- If more applicants apply than spaces available, a lottery system will be used in compliance with charter school guidelines.
- Incomplete applications cannot be considered. Please ensure all required forms and documents are submitted.
Required Documents
- Most recent official school report card.
- Standardized testing results (e.g., LEAP 2025 or equivalent from your current school).
- Any additional documents requested in the application packet.
